We offer lessons in Western and English disciplines, ground work and under saddle training as well as breaking out your new horse. Our property provides a great chance for the community to interact with Simple Times as well as the children and youth who come for our day camps, 4H club, our local equestrian team and other farm experiences.
The animals and activities that are part of the life of the farm provide practical training for youth in essential character and skills. Each young person that we encounter is a relationship we hope to treasure and develop for a lifetime.
CHAMPS 4H - Join our 4H Club in order to grow in character and horse skills and to have the opportunity through the spring and summer months to show what you are learning at the Oakland County fairgrounds in a fun enviroment for the whole family!
CHAMPS Camp - an interactive day camp and farm immersion experience for children ages 7 - 18 that introduces them to the values and skills of farm life in a fun and lively atmosphere. Whether they are grooming a horse, learning to ride, working in the gardens, or simply exploring creation, children learn about the God who loves them and are encouraged to let that love mold them into purposeful, useable, and talented individuals.
